Do you feel your life has spiraled out of reach from the hand of God Almighty? Is there a constant tug from past sins that follow every footstep? Is there a whisper of perpetual condemnation in your ear? First-We must realize God’s mercies are new each day! Second-We must realize as long as there’s breath in our body-We can make it! Third-Identify these feelings come from the master of hopelessness-satan! He would love nothing more than to cut off any attempt to “Your road to redemption.” That road may seem never ending, but HAVE FAITH that God’s grace and mercy is FOR YOU! Let’s glean from the story of Rahab “The Harlot.” The reference of her name alone, shows her past sins followed her where ever she went! By the dialogue between her and the spies-it’s evident she believed in God Almighty! No doubt, she never thought salvation would come her way, but Her Faith prompted her to risk it all, and it proved to be the source of her salvation! The “Scarlet Thread” that hung from her window typified the same blood that protected the Israelites on the Night of The Passover-That same blood is symbolic of the crimson blood that was shed on Calvary for you and I today! Romans 5:8_”But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” The beautiful story of Redemption for Rahab, was she eventually married into the very blood line of Jesus Christ! Her past sins were wiped away, and she was given a new name! That’s the majestic power of that crimson blood-It will redeem the drug addict, the cheater, the liar, those who’ve thrown their morals to the side!!!! That’s the power in the blood of Jesus Christ!!! So let me encourage someone today….Let your faith in Calvary prompt you to get back up and reach for the hand of God Almighty-It’s out stretched waiting for you! Proverbs 24:16_For a just [man] falleth seven times, and riseth up again: GET BACK UP!
