I will declare at the forefront that The Day of Pentecost experience is for every Christian who desires to make it to Heaven. I declare that Speaking in Tongues is necessary for the child of God, because the Bible declares it’s the initial sign of receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, -Such as the Day of Pentecost! Every person Baptized with the Holy Ghost in the New Testament Church Spoke in a Heavenly Language, The Holy Ghost, or may be referred to as the Holy Spirit! You cannot separate being filled with His Spirit from speaking in unknown tongues!

When you study the Birth of the Church in the book of Acts, you will see many Chapters confirming The infilling of the Holy Ghost with Speaking in Tongues. You cannot adhere to the Word of God and dispute otherwise! Prior to the Day of Pentecost, while JESUS was yet on earth, He had a significant conversation with a Pharisee named Nicodemus! Nicodemus was astonished at the Man JESUS and His power He displayed! Jesus told him upfront, John 3; -Nicodemus for you to see the Kingdom of God you must be born again, what are you talking about Jesus? Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot ENTER into the Kingdom of God! Jesus was explaining the New Covenant that would replace the old! That’s why John the Baptist was the forerunner to Jesus Christ, he came onto the scene to preach the Kingdom of God was at hand! John preached Repentance and Baptism, and declared JESUS would soon baptize us with the Holy Ghost! John was declaring out with the Old, in with the New! Jesus later fulfilled the Old Covenant by shedding His blood for the final atonement for man’s sins! However, it was even prophesied the New Covenant would one day come! This is why Jesus looked at Nicodemus and said “Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?”
Jeremiah 31 prophesied about the coming New Covenant, Ezekiel 36 had prophesied about it, and Isaiah 28 spoke of the coming day when God would speak to His people through stammering lips and another tongue! Jesus said, you mean you have no ideal what I’m talking about Nicodemus? Jesus also made a clear and precise analogy relating to being born of the Spirit! John 3:8 tells us “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”
You cannot see the wind, but you can HEAR IT! So it is with being born of the Spirit: The sound thereof Is speaking In Tongues, It is the Initial evidence of the Birth of being filled with His Spirit! It was prophesied about in the Old Testament, and it came to pass on the Day of Pentecost! There’s no disputing the 120 were baptized with the Holy Ghost and spoke with other Tongues. The people gathered to see what was going on, and Accused them of being drunk (As Isaiah spoke: with stammering lips and other tongues-no doubt they had never seen this behavior before) It had everyone spectating scratching their head, and Peter proclaimed in Acts 2:16 “This is that which was spoken by the Prophet Joel (Another Old Testament prophesy speaking of the coming outpouring of His Spirit) It shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out my Spirit upon ALL FLESH” Peter put the pieces together for everyone! “This” -Speaking in Tongues! Is “That” -Outpouring of His Spirit!
So Peter linked the outpouring of God’s Spirit to Speaking with other Tongues!
Jesus linked the Birth of the Spirit to Speaking in Tongues!
Every Chapter in Acts where the Holy Ghost fell, -They spoke with Tongues!
To complete the Plan of Salvation, Peter preached the Gospel “Death-Burial-Resurrection of Jesus Christ” The people were pricked in their heart, conviction fell and they asked what they must Do??? Peter answered them the Only Door to Salvation in Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

Don’t sell yourself short and believe the lie that accepting Christ into your heart automatically puts His Spirit inside of you! For one, Jesus isn’t lookin for employment, we don’t “accept Him” to the contrary if we come to Him and surrender our life to Him, and obey Acts 2:38 He will accept us! We must repent of our sins and turn our life over to Him, then we call on His name at Baptism in the Name of Jesus (not titles-titles have no authority) and we do what we are suppose to and He does the rest by filling us with His Spirit! Folks, it’s in the Word of God, quit walking blind to man’s doctrine and seek out the truth, because Eternity is too long to get it wrong! As in the words of Paul, “Have Ye received the Holy Ghost since Ye believed?” Receiving and believing are two different things! Find a Church that will baptize you in the Name of Jesus, and believes in The Day of Pentecost experience is for US TODAY!!! Even as many as the Lord our God shall call!!!
