Trust The Process

When it comes to God’s Sovereign plan for our lives, we must trust the process! Rest assure, when He calls us into His Kingdom, We all have a calling on our life, with a specific plan that He wishes to work through us! We must also keep in mind, He knows the ending from the beginning, so there is an “in between process we must endure!” God allows us to go through storms, trials, persecutions, and simply “LIFE” to shape us into who He’s called us to be!

Think about this, He allowed Satan to sift Simon Bar-Jonah to turn him into “The Rock,” The Man who would receive the keys to the Kingdom of God! This is why Jesus changed Simons name to Peter when he first encountered the Lord. He saw Peter one day standing on the day of Pentecost preaching the first message of the New Testament Church! He saw Him walking through the streets of Jerusalem, healing the sick in the Name of Jesus! He also saw the day when Peter would take his last breath in his earthly body, by hanging outstretched on a cross for preaching the Gospel! Yet, He knew exactly what he needed to get him to that place in his life. For Peter, it was access for the devil to sift him and rock his world. Peter failed miserably the night of Jesus’ betrayal when he slept in Gethsemane, fled like a coward, and denied he knew the Lord three times, but he needed sifting because he had too much arrogant self-sufficiency in his life.  Peter was the epitome that, “The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.” He relied on his own strength and abilities too much, that’s why he told the Lord, -Not so Lord, I’m willing to die for you!” Peter had to learn the hard way, that true authority came from submission to the will of the Father, and by staying on his knees! Through his failure, he learned where his true strength came from! Instead of sleeping in GETHSEMANE, Peter finally realized he was nothing without the divine help of the Lord! That’s why he later wrote, “Be ye sober, and watch unto prayer!” “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour!” “Be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot and blameless!” Peter allowed what the devil meant to break him with, be the very thing that turned him into the MAN THAT JESUS FORESAW!
Saint of God, there is always a process, and it’s essential to us as a Child of God to trust Him at all times! He will send things our way we may not understand, to allow us to become who He wants us to be, but the choice is ours! We have the choice of what we’re going to do when the process knocks us off our feet. We can choose to trust HIM or trust our human logic. This morning, as in the words of Solomon, I encourage you to trust The Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding! Take heart, His view is from Heaven, our view is from a mere earthly vantage point, and Hindsight will one day reveal, “That’s exactly what I needed!”
God Bless! JDS
