The same human will that drove the Prodigal out of Father’s house and into the world, was the same Will that brought him back home. 

The same will that drove the woman with the issue of blood to search to the ends of the earth for a cure, was the same WILL that spoke, “If I may but touch the hem of his garment, I shall be whole.” Her Will drove her to push through the crowd and stop at nothing to touch the Master.

The same Will that drove Saul to persecute Christians in the name of Religion, was the same Will that drove him in the midst of being shipwrecked, beaten, hungry and naked, all for the sake of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

The same Will that caused David to commit Adultery, was the same Will that drove him to fasting, prayer, and Repentance.

God created us with a divine human will that is so powerful, here on Earth, even He Will Not force us to do anything. Yet, if we submit our Will to His, there is no devil that can stop us, no mountain that is too high, and no storm that can deter us….IF our mind is made up, and our Will is aligned unto God, Nothing shall stand in our way from making Heaven our Home! We can live out the Scripture, “If God be for me, who can be against me!” 

It’s true, our path is determined by our Will. It’s foolish to say, the Devil made me do it, or he or she caused me to sin…No, it was our corrupted WILL that always causes us to sin. Even in the midst of deception, we still had the choice! Eve was deceived into sin, but Adam willfully chose to follow suit: Both had the power of choice, and they chose disobedience! That’s why Daily Repentance is crucial to the Saint of God. It rectifies our corrupted Will, and helps us to die to self, and say, “Not my WILL but thine Oh Lord be done today!” We’ve got to answer that question every time our head rises from sleep each and every day of our lives here on earth: Who’s Will are we going to pursue? ~ His or our own? 
He created us this way: He did not create robots, rather we are free will moral agents, Human Autonomy! We have the power to choose, and He put within us a Drive that if we surrender it to Him, He will work through us to advance His Kingdom. He’s always searched for a people to work through: He’s always used Men and Women throughout the ages to perform His work here on Earth. That Drive in us can be used for a greater cause if we’ll simply hand over the reigns to Him, scoot over and let Him Drive…He’ll use us! He doesn’t require a perfect vessel, only a willing vessel: He’ll take our jars of Clay, put them on the Potter’s Wheel, clothe us with Righteousness, put within us a new heart with new desires, and say, “Now, here’s what I want you to do for me!” The question is and always will be: Who’s Will are we going to pursue? 

The only way we’re going to make Heaven our home is to submit our Self-Will to Him. If we do, NOTHING shall keep us from making Heaven our Home!!! God will anoint our Will with the Power of the Holy Ghost, and we’ll get His work done, and get up out of here some glorious day!!! 

And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, [and] they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments. Exodus 35:21 (KJV)
