To think, we serve a God who saw the inescapable penalty for our sinful nature, so he took on the nature of a Man, walked the earth for 33 years showing me how to live, how to love, how to forgive, how to treat others, and performed the greatest act of love by laying down his life for me! He died for my sins, his wounds were for my transgressions, the bruises he endured was for my iniquities, he was chastened so that I could have peace in my life, the stripes he took was for my healings; not just a physical touch in my body, but also those stripes allow wounds to be healed in the mind and spirit that life brings our way!
